We understand that moving can be stressful, with so many things going on things often get forgotten. To help Allstate Moving Services has provided a Moving Checklist to benefit you during the moving process.
Before your move:
Organize your moving folder for all you important documents and receipts.
Pack & label boxes. Heavy items in small boxes & light items in larger boxes.
Empty & pack: furniture, file cabinets, safes, etc.
Don’t forget: attics, basements, storages, etc.

Advise: schools, day cares, babysitters, etc.
Return items borrowed: library books, video rentals, etc.

Have someone responsible there to direct movers.
Arrange simple meals to eat easily throughout the day.
Have ice chest or box ready for refrigerators/freezers.
